Registration is still open for local residents to apply to Class 34 of Humble PD's Citizens Police Academy.REGISTER HERE! The 10-week class is offered free of charge to residents of Humble and the surrounding area. The classes will be every Thursday evening starting on August 20, 2019 PROMPTLY at 6:00PM.Each week will bring a new and exciting topic that will be taught by HPD staff of officers, telecommunicators, civilian employees and guest speakers. The classes cover everything from Crime Scene, Active Shooter, Detective and Patrol Division operations, Crisis Intervention, Firearms and many more. In addition, there will be a mock crime scene exercise as well as an evening participating in scenarios where YOU get to be the police officer. This class is designed to accommodate everyone.
