The Harris County Homicide Unit has made an arrest for the fatal shooting that occurred over the weekend in Atascocita.

HCSO arrested Mario Jarrell Williams (29, Houston) for Murder last night. He is currently being held in the Harris County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Original Story:
 
A 28-year-old male was shot to death Sunday night in Atascocita according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

The shooting was reported as "in-progress" through 9-1-1 to the PCT 4 Constable's Office at 8:51 p.m. on 11/26/17. Deputies were dispatched to the 17200 block of Crestline Road in Atascocita.
 
Once they arrived, they found a male who had died from an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
 
A perimeter was set up in the area around the residence to look for suspects, but none were found. The Harris County Sheriff's Office Homicide and Crime Scene Unit were called in to investigate.

@blueyes From what I have heard, maybe a domestic dispute? They were a couple.

So sad his story is powerful and encouraging and now a victim of a senseless crime, just so sad for this young man. Prayers for all the lives he did touch in his short life.
