seafood restaurant

I can't say it enough. We love to take the ferry over to The Monument Inn. It makes an adventure and the food is delish! You can order grilled seafood and veggies. But, do not pass up the cinnamon rolls they put on the table. Don't eat the day before if you have to but do not pass on the cinnamon rolls!

Ferry? Where is this restaurant?

I was going to say monument inn also....i would check the ferry schedule also before you leave.... may have to take an alternate route....I take my wife to monument inn every year for our anniversary.... we get extra cinnamon rolls to go...

Y'all are making hungry with these cinnamon rolls.

we get them to go for breakfast the next morning.... the food is good....

I looked it up - it's in LaPorte. Menu sounds good. Where do you catch the ferry?

Thank you! Has anyone tried Cedar Landing? It doesn't look half as nice/good as this restaurant, but we can boat right there.

@Palm Springs: Cedar Landing is OK... but it is not in the same league as Monument Inn.....

Monument Inn is like a 40 minute drive. I just don't have that kind of time on this date night.
I only have two hours to eat some where than be at Painting with a twist.

I like Catfish Cafe for some good catfish/shrimp with some hush puppies and pickled green tomatoes.
