When there were only three TV channels and you actually had to get up to change the channel. How did we ever do it?

I remember our tv being the size of a small dresser..

Our phone that hung on the wall had like a 50 foot cord so u could walk around and talk on it.

My parents smoked in the car with the windows rolled up and us in it.. Heck for that matter u just don't see ashtrays in cars anymore..

I miss those phones! Every once in a while, you had to hold the phone upside down by the cord to let it spin at light speed to untangle the cord. Emoticon

Eddie left Debbie for Liz.

It was all Liz's fault.

We hated her.

Eddie was in no way responsible.

Those were the days.

You didn't have to wear seatbelts. I remember driving down the road and crawling all over the seats in the family station wagon.

I remember when married women didn't have first names - they were Mrs. (husband's name) - found some old checks recently that reminded me of this.
