West-Tex: When DH and I announced that we were relocating to Houston for retirement, one of my biggest reasons was due to lack of snow. I really didn't want to deal with that as we age. But people gasped in shock, saying, "But the HUMIDITY is awful!" My reply remains the same, "Yes, but I don't have to SHOVEL THAT!"

West-Tex : I can't take either one!! I hate this weather. I guess I'd better get an appointment to get my hair cut off my neck.

KathyMarshall : You make an excellent point! And you can out and about if you so choose. Just run errands first thing in the morning and then get home to lie under the ceiling fan. You have the option since you are retired! What I can't handle is when it is so hot that even the pool feels like a sauna. I like to take a refreshing dip!
West-Tex : I know you're happy about that! lol. I'm thankful that we got our camper's a/c fixed. We're going camping with friends Thursday through Friday. Hot, hot, hot!
RajunCajun: I must be one of only a few folk who look forward to bathtub pool temps. My arthritic joints love the heat and it makes movement so much less painful!
