Racing motorcycles
I don't live too far from FM1960 and I can sit on my back porch and listen to these motorcycles racing up and down FM 1960 tonight. They are super loud and it has to be dangerous. Is anybody else hearing this?

I get up around 3.30 every morning and I hear it all day long, plus the loud *** cars with their dump exhaust systems very loud. Not a constable or a sheriff in site.
I agree. It doesn't seem like the cops care. It's not just the motorcycles it is loud sports cars that race out here too. There are five college age boys that have moved three doors from my house and each have a loud sports car. They wake us up in the morning and you can hear them come in late at night. It's ridiculous. These are supposed to be single family homes and yet this house is a frat house. This just adds to the noise around here which never used to exist. I've lived in my home for 37 years. I have planes trying to land on top of the roof of my house as they come in to Bush airport and now I have race cars a motorcycles racing on FM 1960. They are extremely loud. The young people seem to outdo the other with how loud they can get their motorcycles and cars. No sitting on the back porch listening to the birds anymore.
You know, I used to hear it all the time. But through the years, as our neighborhood developed, I don't hear it as much. I live near ES.
I think they're over here on FM 1960 near the bridge because there are now three lanes and the traffic is spaced enough that it gives them a free raceway. I was listening to this a little after 7:00 p.m. last night. I could hear one of them rubbing up his motorcycle or whatever and waiting for his friend so they could race together. This went back and forth a few times. The vehicles they use are extremely loud.
You're hearing them open it up on the overpass. The sound reverberates off the walls and is higher up so less obstructions for the sound to travel. If you have the wind blowing out of the south, which will happen most days here in Houston, it will enhance the noise. Enjoy the next few days with a north wind
