Pretty Irritated. So..apparently.
Sunday night around 3;10 AM (so, Monday AM I guess) , one of my neighbors 4 houses down, catches a couple of bozo'x breaking into another neighbors car.. He holler's at them, and they SHOOT at him..4 times... Did not hit him.. Cops are called and all they do is a drive by...did not stop.
Comes by the next morning at 9:30 AM to begin the investigation.. Like , what?
Getaway car dropped them off in front of my neighbors house..
Times they are insane.
No, I will not say what neighborhood.

@Lace :
Wow. Disturbing. A lot of this goes on in neighborhoods everywhere. I call them the "night shift" and the "door pullers". The door pullers are looking for firearms. Anything else they find is a bonus. I'm glad that my garage is large enough to park dh's truck, my car, the golf cart, and pretty much all outdoor stuff so we don't have to worry about this. We also lock our garage. We don't just close it. We lock it. That way, the garage doors can't be opened by using an opener that is set to the same frequency as our doors.

@RajunCajun :
Yea. Luckily mine is always in the garage, hubbys not always. It's just crazy that someone is willing to kill someone for busting them breaking into cars. I mean. Just run. My hubby confronted one in our driveway last year. They ended up catching them, and they did have guns. I can't believe he didn't get shot.

This happened to someone in The Groves a few months ago--minus the shooting part. The door pullers are all over the country. They have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Very few consequences if they get caught. This is now really obvious considering that the door pullers actually discharged a firearm and still didn't have to worry about getting caught.

I think the best thing that anyone could do would be to sleep with key fob on nightstand. Hear or see anything going on just hit the alarm on the fob. That's probably the only sane course of action.

@RajunCajun :
That's the thing.. We didn't hear anything.. nothing.. Most the time when our ring goes off we don't hear. I keep my phone by my bed, which has the car app so I can set the alarm off that way.
