There were many others isles, but I just took a few pics so you could get a feel for it....
@AlettertoElise Good stuff...Nothing like our local ADC reporters on the scene(with GOOD news for a change)...Eat your hearts out local news media.... This does bring an interesting thought to mind though...We have "Fire Sales", why no "Flood Sales"?...Bet there were a lot of salvageable toys, being plastic and all...
@AlettertoElise Thanks! Haven’t made it over there yet, haven’t had the time nor the funds
I was wondering what it was like
I have not heard about this place. Where is it?
@EddyFree i actually went to our ToysRUs to go dumpster diving, but the toys that were being tossed was under armed guard. I was sad, i wanted Lego boxes as the insides are sealed in plastic...
@JustPeachy its just the ToysRUs building on I59
@Jorge @EddieFree Trust me you don't want anything to do with those packages.
@Palm Springs after reading all the stories of the yuck in the water, you are right.
Thanks for the tip @adc! I edited my original post to include the location.
It is sad that there wasn't some sort of cleaning process that would make those toys possible for kids without them.
