The ghosts are very real. I tagged with a group in 2008 and we did obtain evidence.

I thought it was decent. It's not self serve. You have to request what you want, which is difficult after you sit down and can't remember what's available. I think things like guacamole and sopapillas are included in the price but you have to ask for them. You might be able to request freshly made things out of the ingredients they have on hand.

TootsieRoll brightlights Joe : My neighbor for a long time, when I lived in Atascocita Forest, is the daughter of the founder and his brother. Sometimes she and her hubby would take our family with them to eat there. That's when I truly felt like royalty As soon as we would walk in with the neighbors, you'd think the king and queen of England had walked in. It was amazing, and my kids LOVED it. That was a long time ago though.

I am not sure about the comment regarding patrons washing hands and handling utensils, at Panchos the servers handle the utensils only. I would wash my own hands before and after eating though. I have been there recently and found it very good.

We were eating at the Country Scrambled across from it this morning and there was a ton of cars there. Somebody out there must like it because they've been in business 40+ years.

I have not been there in over 25 years. Use to purchase the family pack for the kids when they were young. Prices were very reasonable and affordable. So many better
Mexican and Chinese restaurants have opened since those days that I have not been back.

Wife refuses the go but I find myself there once a year. More for nostalgia than the food. When I was a kid in elementary school they were closed down for serving horse meat. Later reopened with a lot of negative publicity.
