Suspect Arrested for Evading and Retaliation
On October 25, 2022, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman's Office was patrolling in the 16900 block of W Lake Houston Pkwy when a vehicle began to drive closely behind. The driver then drove beside the deputies vehicle, made hand gestures in the shape of a gun and and threatened to kill her due to a previous arrest before fleeing.
Deputies gave chase but the driver refused to stop, leading them on a pursuit. The vehicle came to a stop in the 18400 block of Yellowstone Trail and the suspect fled on foot. He was quickly detained and identified as Joshua Ross.
Further investigation revealed he was currently out on bond for two separate counts of Evading.
"Joshua Ross was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Evading on Foot and Retaliation. His bond and court information have not been set at this time." - Constable Mark Herman
