Humble Fire Department Now Offers a Single-Use Disposal System Box
Humble Fire Rescue has partnered with the Texas Department of Health and Human Services to provide a free and easy way to dispose of medication responsibly.
Single-Use Disposal Systems (SUDS) are a convenient and environmentally-friendly way to dispose of unused or expired prescription medications. This pre-paid take-away envelope allows residents to mail unused and expired prescriptions from the privacy of home. After the SUDS is mailed, the envelopes are incinerated unopened, keeping them out of local waterways.
A Single-Use Disposal System box is located at the main entrance any Humble Fire station. Grab an envelope, place unwanted or expired medications inside and mail it away for safe destruction.
