5 assault suspects arrested in Humble 7/12/22

On July 12, 2022, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 19500 block of Forest Timbers Circle in reference to an in progress disturbance.

Upon deputies arriving, investigation revealed that Carolina Hernandez, Geana Cora-Sierra, Katherine Zavala, April Zavala and Saylor Moraida drove to the location to confront another female over past issues and physically assaulted her.

A bystander intervened to stop the fight but was also assaulted by the suspects.

Carolina Hernandez, Geana Cora Sierra, Katherine Zavala, April Zavala and Saylor Moraida were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Assault. Their bonds were set at $100.00 each out of County Court 9.

@Enzo : yes - but the bond is not the punishment; although in our system - she will likely not get any real punishment; the record will follow her. She will still have lawyer and court date.

Since there is no parenting these days they are not afraid to go home. I would have slept in the garage rather
than face my parents if I had done this.

Well, and in that vein, we would have been a public laughingstock if we did this. The statement "Can't fight their own battles " would have followed you around and you would have been mocked for needing the help. Also, people would have been waiting to catch you alone after you did something like this. It was ok to have your friends there in case anyone else tried to jump in, but they were to stay out of it if no one else jumped in.

@JustPeachy : Well in this heat....that's really saying something....sleeping in the garage! Seriously though, parenting IS a lost art.

@AtascocitaDotCom : $100 each? Really? Why bother? All this does is encourage their behavior because the consequences are negligible. I guess our justice system is over capacity.
