According to reports from PCT 4, on April 22, 2019, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman's Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 8400 block of FM 1960 bypass. During the course of the traffic stop, the driver refused to identify herself and fled the scene in her vehicle.
Constable Deputies gave chase and were able to stop the vehicle in the 8800 block of LeClaire Meadow Drive. The driver was identified as Lashawnda Wright.
Further investigation revealed that during the pursuit, her seven year old daughter was in the back seat of the vehicle.
"Lashawnda Wright was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle. Her bond was set at $2,500.00 out of the 185th District Court." - Constable Mark Herman
