According to reports from PCT 4, on October 6, 2018, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 18900 block of Walden Forest Drive in Atascocita in reference to an intoxicated male.

The male advised the deputy he had too much to drink and had nowhere to go. The deputy told the male he would take him to a place he could stay until he sobered up.

The male, identified as Joshua Brown (30, Huffman), made statements indicating that he wanted to hurt himself and pulled out a pocket knife. The deputy grabbed the knife and Brown became combative. The deputy had to eventually deploy his taser to gain control of Brown.

Brown became even more combative when placed in the back of the police car. He injured himself and began spitting blood and saliva at the deputy.

The deputy called for EMS in which they sedated and transported Brown to a hospital for treatment.

"Joshua Brown was charged with Resisting Arrest / Detention with a Deadly Weapon and Harassment of a Public Servant. He received No bond out of the 228th District Court. Once released from the hospital he will be booked into the Harris County Jail" - Constable Mark Herman

He needs to be deported to Mexico. This is the reason we need to build the wall. Where is my wall? We need to make America Great Again.

Speaking of taser, did y'all see this video of the guy trying to steal the tractor and the police tasered him when he tried to run away on foot...Hilarious the way he "dive-falls" when hit...I literally spit my drink out!

Are you saying that it would not be justified if they did? Just asking.

Good job to the officer. Some cops would have just shot him.

@nikkiole :

Agreed. Especially if he was wearing a hoody and had skittles in his hand.

I would agree but the wording in your statement indicating some cops would have just shot him insinuate that some cops are looking to shot for any reason. I just wanted clarification nothing more also research studies on police and people with edged weapons especially the one with the 21 foot rule.
