It's a pretty simple rule: When an officer asks you to stop what you're doing, just stop what you're doing. Unless, of course, you've always wanted to be handcuffed and carted off to jail...Then you act like this woman did.

Via Constable Mark Herman's Office:

On Wednesday, October 4, 2017, a deputy with the Precinct 4 Constable's Office responded to a disturbance in the 17800 block of Silver Bend Drive in Atascocita. During the investigation, a female approached the scene. She continuously attempted to physically and verbally agitate a witness. The female, identified as Jaquilah Nichelle David (23, Atascocita), refused all commands from the Constable Deputy to stop. After a brief struggle, she was detained.

Jaquilah David was arrested, booked into the Harris County Jail and charged with Interference with Public Duties. Her bond is set at $500.00 out of County Court 6.

sometimes what police tell you isn't lawful. when you don't listen and then subsequently go to jail, you can profit

You would think this is a no-brainer.

But some want that 15 minutes of fame or want to set up for a potential discrimination or harassment lawsuit, etc.

They want this taught in Driver's Ed. By the time you are 16, your parents should have taught you to respect authority.

Special athletes are protected by the National Felons League, even the lying ones who cry out false claims against the Police.

We drove pass that scene last night. There were about 6 police cars and I saw a lady getting pictures taken of her. I guest this was it.

@ginx That video was hard to watch!

So what's the deal? Did the officers need the warrant to kick her door in, hence the windfall?

@brightlights the city settled, probably scared of what a jury would do to them. but yes, a warrant less entry and injuring her, they would have gotten clobbered at trial.
