I used to eat there when I lived in Virginia. It's good. I try to cut back on the carbs, but I'll go there for the occasional splurge. So, that's where the Quiznos used to be years back, right? I missed them when they left.

@Littlegoo Potbelly bread is so thin and squishy...that means less carbs, right? Ha

Had my first Potbelly sandwich on Tuesday, and it was by far one of the better ones I've had at a chain.

I'm excited about that... I've never had one, and I pretty much love all things "sandwich!" Looks like another Urgent Care place beside it...

Potbelly sandwiches are good and they have really good cookies too!

So for those that have eaten here before how does it compare to Firehouse? I like Firehouse but still just feels like an overpriced sandwich.

@daddyo9 Much better IMO. I don't like Firehouse. I find their meats tough and gristley.

Yum! Their Mediterranean Chicken sandwich is delish...it has artichoke hearts on it. Most of their sandwich selections are offered in salad form, too.@daddyo9 Way better than Firehouse, IMO.

I like Potbelly, they also have good salads.

@HumbleGirl Yes! that sounds like a good excuse to me! I'll take it.

IMO Potbelly is way better than Fire House. Fire House is very heavy on the condiments. My sandwich gets soggy from all the mayo that they put on it.

@FNULNU1954 I think that is the same Urgent Care that has been there for years but it may now have a different name. I liked going there when Dr Wilkerson was the doctor.

@daddyo9 Personally I think Firehouse is nasty. They never make my sandwiches right so I stopped going there. Pot Belly is awesome. They've been around since the 60's in Old Town of Chicago. Their Malts are amazing and so is their pepper mix that they put on the sandwiches. I'm excited as I've been begging the Woodlands store to open one here. Happy dancing now!!
