Papa John's Donates To Deputy's Family
In an effort to honor Assistant Chief Deputy Greenwood, Papa John’s Pizza of Houston will donate all proceeds from all Greater Houston Papa John’s locations Monday, April 10, 2017 to his family.
Greenwood, a 30 year veteran of law enforcement, lost his life Monday, April 3, 2017 while arriving to work at the Baytown County courthouse. Papa John’s locations from Huntsville to Galveston, and Lake Jackson to Baytown are included.
Greenwood began his career at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office before starting his own law office in 1989, where he focused on representing police officers in criminal matters. In 2009, he joined the Harris County District Attorney’s office as the Police Integrity Division Chief before joining the Harris County Sheriff’s Office in 2013. While at the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Greenwood served as the Commander of the Office of Inspector General, the Internal Affairs Division, and General Investigations Division. Greenwood also served as an instructor to new recruits for the Houston Police Department from 2009 to 2012.
