I've seen the article. It's been posted in a few groups but the comments I saw acted like they've never heard about it.

@West-Tex : That would be terrible. My dogs are always with one of us and with me in the fenced area or on the upper deck.

@MrsT : I'm sure you're plenty fancy enough! My DD lives in the Commons and she's not "fancy". Just a down-to-earth, hard working sweetheart. She is beautiful, inside and out. Even though I've never actually met you, you remind me of her.

She's also very good friends with Humblegirl!

@MrsT : Well, that's true of any neighborhood with an HOA or POA. Besides, down here in Texas, Fred's yard would give snakes too many places to hide out Emoticon

I guess I am lucky that I stayed outside all day working on my front yard (do we still call front yard?) I worked my behind off and still have more to do. I heard my dead DH saying "you could have gotten a crew!" I totally enjoy the end results.
Pinehurst not so picky but I used to get stupid crap that wasn't done. I might have had a talk with them.......This HOOD is okay!

I am slow starting this year. Thankfully, the cement driveway is 3 cars wide and probably 5 or 6 cars. If I had to do most of that I would really be working earlier. My back yard isn't very pretty around the pool so it needs help. I really need to go to the beach and check it but I think I will pass this weekend and keep ripping those weeds!

ladybeachbum : I hear you. Slow going for me too but it will get done. I'm trying to get things done before the hot weather because I can't take it anymore. But, I don't know why I work so hard when my next door neighbor does nothing. His driveway is more grass than cement. They also park all over the front yard. He never rakes his leaves and they blow in my yard. I've asked him nicely please pick up your slaves to no avail.Please keep the forums civil. Gray box info Details+Dispute
