Need new sofa/couch for living room, where have you purchased lately and had a good experience?
Went yesterday to Living Spaces and there was a good selection I felt, and found a few we can choose from. But then I went home and read reviews about Living Spaces and that makes me not wanting to buy from them.
Have not been to Skeros in KW yet. Macy"s? Thanks for recommendations.

@AGLLM :
I bought mine from Skeros Atascocita. The sales person was very helpful and didn't try to upsell. He asked a lot of good questions to help me make my decision.

@Luckysis : Thanks, I had gone to Skeros in Atascocita and also was not tried to upsell or so. And yes the sales person had some good points on stuff. I just need to go the the Kindwood location and see what they have there since it is a larger store. Thanks for your opinion.

@AGLLM: Consider looking at Cort Furniture Outlet stores. There are two but both on the opposite side of Houston. They sell new and excellent quality lightly used executive home and office ex-rental furniture. The great thing is that you can search and look at each store's inventory online before you go. The Clearance section online always has lots of super deals. You can arrange delivery (extra $ of course) but always fair, always reputable. Have used them in several different states and never disappointed. Good luck!

@MrsHB : Thanks for reminding me about Star furniture, that's where we purchased our old one. Did not even realize they were still around.
@KathyMarshall : Thank you, will look closer at the one, never heard about it.
@TortieMama : @ginx: Yes, that's what I am told that Skero's goes way into the back. The Croby one is not as big as the NP one. I will for sure go there before I venture all over Houston.
@susanbanthony : Will also look at Bassett.
Thank you all for the recommendations.

We bought our couch from Skero's as well. No complaints. It's a super comfy couch.

@AGLLM : Try Rooms to Go. The big location, not the one in Humble.

Be certain to ask questions about frame construction, springs/webbing and padding/foam density. Many bargain priced upholstered pieces are not meant to last. Also check fabric contents. Very important for long lasting wear. If your fam eats snacks/ meals sitting on this then staining could be a big issue. Crypton brand fabric is totally non staining. I've used Crypton fabric on bench seating in my bathroom. Still looks new after 10 years.
