Lots of O&G out in W. Texas. Those quakes could be fracking related. Not sure about the rest.
@eighteen : It blew my mind that Engineers didn't even consider that something is going to take the place of the oil that is removed. Obviously there are going to be reactions and consequences.
I commented that to a new "Engineer" that was literally right out of MIT. He looked at me and confidently said that Water will take it's place. ???
Hello? If the water could reach it, then the oil could reach the water. ???? So the oil would be in the water? And he just looked at me dumbfounded! That is the result of education over experience. Keep your education in your text book and let the adults do the work.
