Maybe someone who is a regular poster there could create a thread about this too. Better than coming from a "newbie" who people may assume is trolling.
@Palm Springs It is hard to know who to help and not taking your money for their nice lifestyle. I wonder if he would get up if someone was looking in his car or taking pictures?
@ladybeachbum It is hard to tell who has a real need. I thought he did and that his story might be different. Apparently not from what I saw today. Now, there is always the possibility he is living in that car and down on his luck - no clue.
@Palm Springs Do you think it was a new car or an older one that he is waiting for tags? I would think if he is living in his car it would be a beat up oldie but that is just my image.
I don't think they make that model anymore. That being said who would finance a home less person? Maybe he paid cash from all of his donations? I hate to say these things because my heart goes out to people who are less fortunate. Not sure he's one of them.....
@ladybeachbum I don't think it was a new model. Pretty sure it was used, but could be wrong. It did not look beat-up to me, but I only saw the back of the vehicle. I wanted to give him the stink eye as I passed by him on the corner, but did not.
Not his first car. A while back someone on a neighborhood Facebook page mentioned seeing him driving into Lowe's parking lot. If I remember correctly they were complaining because he was speeding in the lot and almost hit them.
