Man caught after allegedly escaping from northeast Harris County

TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE for the Sheriff's Office to make such a mistake so close to the sports fields & playgrounds !!!

ParksideRes : I've wondered why a jail and a park with lots of kids were built so close together. They did apprehend him quickly tho.

@SnoopSister : The jail has been moved further away. It was right next to the soccer fields, with manned guard towers. In comparison, it is nowhere near the fields.

@SnoopSister : Allowing an inmate to escape. Even worse with the huge playground in the immediate vicinity.What a place for a County owned playground- near a prison, shooting range and Waste Management landfill. What's next - a nuclear testing facility?
