Made a big pan of pizza burgers tonight. The family loves them and I make a batch about twice a month. Very easy and cheap dinner. Some have Italian sausage and others pepperoni.

Whoa we do ours totally different- we mix diced pepperoni and browned ground beef with thick pizza sauce and that mix goes over open face hamburger buns with cheddar cheese. Whole thing gets baked until edges are crispy and cheese is melted. Either way, YUM

I use french or Italian bread or sometime hard rolls. Hamburger buns are a little soft for us. But, either way is great eatin'.

I use a loaf or two of crispy bread sliced in half and cut to serving pieces. Spoon on a layer of pizza sauce to cover bun. Next layer is cooked sausage or pepperoni. Then top with mozzarella or cheese of your choice. Sprinkle with oregano and bake at 350 for about 25 minutes.
