FM 1960 Construction (unofficial) They are about 75% done with segment A of 1960, just finishing up the curbs on the eastbound side and installing traffic lights. Along with some curb filling into the center raised median. Pretty cool stuff However, on Webbers side (Segment B with the 1960 overpass) has only built a new curb on the 1960 westbound left turn lane. Nothing else. THEY STILL HAVE NOT TOUCHED THE TRAFFIC LIGHTS! And the barrels and the construction traffic lights make the whole underpass look trash. I have tried reaching out and calling to Webber themselves. Nothing. Tried reaching out to TxDOT. Nothing.
If anyone has any info regarding the traffic lights please share! (They've been sitting there for about a year and a half almost 2 years).

JoinkySploinky : I talked to txdot engineers almost 2 years ago about some of the issues I had with the lights. They told me they would have to order new light but that was the problem they were having was getting the light. They said it would take about a year to get them. Well I think they really have know clue what they are doing. This entire project was to improve the safety up and down 1960 but most of the intersecting street lights do not include protected left turn lights. Pinehurst Trail is one. I have almost been hit more times in the last year than I had form the time I moved here in 2001. They said if they change the lights to include protected left turns it would effect the efficiency of the intersection.

" - I totally agree on the protected left turn lights!! And especially the Pinehurst Trail one. It seems to me that the north side has a red light for the left turning lane, but if you drive north and want to turn left onto 1960 to go west you have no idea which car is going to stop. It is freaking scarry and dangerous! Irritates me every morning.But also the other ones like when you come out from the Target parking going left and have to watch for all the cars coming from the Denny's side.
Nothing will get changed until a few people are dead probably. Can't wait until the "golden" traffic lights will be installed, I mean if it takes that long to get traffic lights they must be special.
eighteen : I have tried. PCT 3 said in the engineering department that they have nothing to do with it and to contact the Txdot office. I will update on this shortly.
