Ok problem solved... I just called them they are open!

Wait a minute the first one was on 1960, then they built the one which is now wings whatever, then the Forest, then in Huffman/ and back to the original on 1960, sad if it shut down, didn't like the one in the forest. I never went to the one in Huffman and I think it closed Sad

No. They are not the same owners.

The one on Atascocita Rd is truly unimpressive. The food is mediocre at best, the atmosphere is below bland and the unfriendly employees never smile.
Also, Patrons in Humble was awful when we went a couple weeks ago.

Ya'll are making me glad I didn't leave the beach with my guys today because I'd bet $100 they will be at Los Vega on Atascocita Road as soon as they can. I am not crazy about it but they love it. They are always very nice to us but then we might be considered regulars. We went to the one on 1960 further down after the one in the Aldi center closed. It was never the same and the Atascocita Rd location seemed to have better ingredients. Hubs and I like Patron but the son that lives for Mexican food thought it was horrible.

We have been to Patrons many times and it has never disappointed.Matter of fact, I now know what dinner will be Wednesday. 🤣

@PittsburghAtHeart What do you have there? I don't remember what I had but I liked it. The kid had something that had crawfish on it and tried to give me those. I thought it was more fresh. I still prefer Pappasitos but hate to take out a loan to go there!

So sad. They have been our go to Mexican place for about 17 years. The move to this last location just never worked for them, even though they used to be in that location at one time years ago.

@cheryltom They have other restaurants in different locations beside our area, I think. They catered to us more than the Atascocita location does. The guys kept trying it and then just only the Atascocita Road location. They have been there and back home already tonight!
