So, what's the purpose of stealing tailgates? I don't get it. Also, in a sedan? 😂

Am I the only one who finds Grizzy's page kind of obnoxious? Maybe obnoxious isn't the word but it's something. I can't quite spit out the right descriptor.

Why do people steal tailgates?
Tailgates are commonly damaged parts on trucks, from either collision damage, overloading them, and abuse. A lot of truck owners would just as soon buy a used tailgate in good condition as new. They're valuable parts on the used parts market, and they're very easy to steal.

West-Tex : I think someone told me that before. They're pretty expensive brand new. Anyway, it's still ridiculous.

eighteen : I think it's the reason some owners park reversed in the driveway but that doesn't help them.

West-Tex eighteen : Sometimes I think thieves steal, just because they are too lazy and evil to get real jobs.
