My father-in-law was an Engineer for Chevron. Back in the 60's, there was a vendor who used to give great weekend fishing trips to his place in Rockport. My husband says the family had a great time. In the early seventies, Chevron said the employees could not take "gifts" anymore. Many companies do this now. Rules have to be followed.
