Today these people want to speak to the neighborhood blaring these noise makers with no courtesy for the amount of people that live out here now.

Man1 :

They are desperate for attention and/or trying to "impress" others similar to themselves because they have "self-esteem" issues....It's like the kids back in my day and before who would put plastic attachments on their bike wheels that would get stroked by the "spokes" and make a bunch of noise while they were riding it...."LOOK AT ME!"......

but it IS difficult to drive 30 mph down Eagle Springs Parkway.

Catmae : Not at all. It's curvy and streets adjacent are blind to traffic. 35+ creates situations where you'd have to slow down for those turning onto ESP even though they started 'in the clear'.

ParksideRes : Like I said, OTHER drivers obviously find it difficult driving down that road going 35 mph, because they ride your bumper all the way down. Not all of them, but quite a few.

Just consider it a "fast tax" and move on. (Extra tax to pay for driving a little quicker than posted). The vast majority of speeding tickets are for revenue generation and added to operating funds. Simply another method of generating tax revenue that can be avoided

What ticks me off is that is a daily commute for me and i have people honking, practically cutting me off while passing and swerving in front of me and giving me dirty looks for driving the speed limit while they are going 15 miles over.

I literally had some person on my *** just to swerve to get in front of me just to completely slam on there breaks and come to a compete stop for over a minute to "show me" for daring to drive the speed limit.

redneckroy : Only enough to cover costs. The rest go to emergency medical funds, victim compensation funds, and educational programs.

: I'm not against speed cameras. Their effects are well documented in the UK. 15 over is an automatic suspension in some cases.

It's so much more pleasant driving over there.

Never understood the vitriol over red light cameras. They got caught, deal with it.
