Just in, 41 hours of below freezing temps for Houston. I was actually planning on running the pool for 48 hours straight. I like this better but..we know it will change.

Maxsmom : I am worried too. I just went out and started the pool motor. I was going to wait till nearly dark but, I needed to start it and see if I needed to top it off with any water. Means our gas bill and light bill will be up with the "Icepocolypse".

TortieMama : When I had mine I did I would start it before you go to bed if climbs above freezing tomorrow I would shut it off until the temp drop again

Itsme : I turned it on yesterday to insure I have the proper amount of water. I have not turned it off and probably wont till this is all over. Ugh. High gas bill due to the bitter cold and higher than normal light bill. Oh and....there is the water bill since I am dripping faucets. Rrrrrrrr.
