Joe V's Smart Shop Purportedly Set to Open in Humble at Former Conn's LocationRumors are swirling that Joe V's Smart Shop, the discount grocery arm of H-E-B, may soon plant its flag in Humble, Texas. Sources close to another website Texas indicate the new store could take over the former Conn's HomePlus spot at 19611 US-59, Humble, TX 77338, breathing fresh life into the recently vacated property.Conn's HomePlus shuttered all its stores nationwide in 2024 following a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing, leaving the Humble location-a sizable 27,000+ square foot retail space-up for grabs. Enter Joe V's, a chain known for affordable groceries, fresh meats, and community goodwill. While no official announcement has come from H-E-B or Joe V's, the move aligns with the chain's recent expansion push, including new stores in Dallas at Wheatland Road and Buckner Boulevard.Locals might welcome the addition. Joe V's has a knack for blending low prices with quality, often featuring in-house made tortillas and sushi-perfect for budget-conscious families in Humble. The property's availability and Joe V's growth trajectory make this a plausible fit, though details remain under wraps. another website Texas reached out to local real estate and city permitting channels but found no public confirmation yet-suggesting plans might still be in the early stages.Stay tuned to another website Texas for updates as this story develops.www.another website.com/2025/02/joe-vs-humble/

eighteen: We love shopping at Joe V's Smart Shop. I hope it's true as we would go there much more often if there was a closer one.

TortieMama : Lots of Mexican/Latino staples.

West-Tex : We need to flood their inboxes the way Kingwood did to get a Trader Joes.

eighteen : Thanks.

West-Tex : I drove in that parking lot on Tuesday and was wondering while the complete area in front of the old Conn's was fenced in, so it looks like they are starting to work on it.
I have never shopped at a Joe V's but have seen them around Houston. Curios to check this one out since it will be close to work.
