Been using HEB pharmacy for 15+ years with zero issues.Walgreens is the worst. CVS isn't far behind!

This situation is worthy of a lady like scream or maybe a can of Texas whoop are. Or both!

Totally agree. I had only 2 scripts and had to wait 3 days cause Walgreens was out of meds and had order. 🤪🤪 this situation isn't new to me and has been happening for years 😭

I switched to HEB a while back bc of this. HEB is great!!

It seems like both Walgreens and CVS are a mess. I remember reading a while back that several of these chain pharmacy pharmacists raised a national protest/strik-something to that effect. Their issue was the volume that they were expected to produce. The said the work load had greatly increased due to the push for people to get their immunizations at drug stores. It seems immunizations are highly profitable so big box pharmacies are pushing this. The pharmacists said they were protesting because of patient safety concerns. They said no way can they fill all of these scrips and do shots, too.

All that...................is why I have been using HEB for years now w/o problems

F that Walgreens in Atascocita. For some reason, my husband sent a medication over there and I went to pick it up one night and paid for it. The guy didn't give me back my card. I told him and he said oh you never gave it to me. I'm like yes I did, how do you think you printed out a receipt? He repeatedly accused me of not ever giving him the card. Finally he found it, it was a black card and he laid it down on something black and didn't see it. Then another time I went inside and this man was asking about insulin. There's a certain type of insulin that you can receive without a prescription, it's an old kind that people don't really use anymore. The man was asking about it and the girl working behind the counter didn't know what he was talking about. She kept telling him we can't give you needles and he repeatedly said I'm not asking you for needles, I'm asking about Insulin. She asked somebody else and of course she tells her he wants needles. If I was him I would've jumped across the counter at this point. 🤦🏼‍♀️
This went on for several minutes while she stood there eating Cheez-Its out of the box.

We just fired CVS. Pharmacists think they rule the medical profession and will not fill as written. Switched to HEB and everything is so much cheaper or free.

We just had a problem with Walgreens. My DD picked up her meds and the girl behind the counter asked her if she know about the high deductible. She said yes so she paid for it and drove back to UH. when she got back to her dorm she opened her meds and it was only 8 pills. Yesterday I picked up more meds for her and I talked to pharmacists about it and he said they should have contacted the doc about that and asked for a full 30 day supply. But I had to pay the same deductible again yesterday for the next 30 day supply. We have used HEB for years but becuse she only see the doctor in person 1 time a year and the rest is over the phone (video) HEB will no longer fill her prescription.

I used to use Walgreens but I had so many problems like everyone else on here! I switched to HEB and love them! My dh refused to switch from Walgreens to HEB after 2 years…guess where he's going?! 😂
