eighteen : I saw that a couple faculty members said it was real and they told him that he needed to get it out of prom because it was going to get stolen. It didn't say whether he gave it to someone else to get it out of there or not.Catmae : I am too. But apparently it was in several proms in Houston and it's been in other cities as well.

Reminds me of what the kids did in Germany during hyperinflation. I guess we are about there now if kids playing with 100k at prom. Use to buy a house with that kind of money.

I've never heard of anything so insane. Where did the kid get that kind of money?!!!! Warning: Minor Rant. Why on earth have things become so complicated with kids these days? Everything has to be a Big Thing. Example, "promposal". These things have gotten so out of hand. Back in the day, a boy just called a girl and said, "would you like to go with me?" Nice thing is if she didn't want to go, she could say no in private and not humiliate the young man. Now, the girl feels pressured to go if the boy went to all of that trouble. The whole thing is absurd. It seems like it is that way with everything with the younger bunch.
