Homeowners and Car Insurance;
I have been with Safeco Insurance the last few years, and just looked at my upcoming renewal bill and it was $200 lower on homeowner and $200 lower on our cars. There is little hope I think. Last year I really looked deep into the policies with my agent and tweaked for sure the homeowners. So I am happy, hope the downward trend continues.
For reference, I use TWFG Insurance Company, they have an office on WLHP, 281-852-3333. Michelle is the best, but anyone there has always been very nice, helpful, knowledgeable & responsive in my experience.

Congrats. Ours, here in Louisiana, skyrocketed even though we haven't made a claim in years. We're shopping now.

DON'T use Allstate. I repeat, do not under any circumstances use Allstate. They tried to screw me over without even sending out an adjuster/inspector... because they do not have any inspectors in the Houston area. They tried to cancel my new policy due to what they thought the may have seen in the picture they had me taken of my roof, a two-story roof picture taken from the ground by a 5'2" person with a cell phone . I sent the required pics and the invoice of my new roof install from 2019. They said my 6 year old roof was "missing large amounts of asphalt", they refused to send an adjuster out to look at it, completely ignored the brand new roof inspection report and pictures from my roofing company, and denied all attempts at an appeal. They never once laid eyes on my roof throughout this entire process. I was told that they do not have any inspectors listed for the Houston area....during hurricane season, at that. I'm "in Good Hands With Allstate," huh? Pffffttttt!

My homeowners went up $2000 a year. And it's the cheapest I can find. I even raised my deductibles.

My renewal is coming up in January. They should be sending my new quote this month. I'm hoping for no huge increases.

That's appalling. Ours with Sagesure skyrocketed. Dh had gotten something in the mail from Allstate and was going to call them. I told him over my dead body.

AGLLM : Safeco here too, hoping mine does the same. 0 claims in my life.
