A 54-year-old woman has been arrested for operating an illegal massage business out of her Atascocita home...And she was reportedly offering "more than massages."
According to reports from PCT 4, over the past few months, Constable Mark Herman's Office had received several complaints in reference to an unusual amount of traffic coming and going from a residence in the 7200 block Lonesome Woods Trail in Atascocita. Constable Herman promptly initiated an undercover investigation.
Investigators discovered an illicit massage parlor was being operated at this location. Clients also gave written statements to undercover investigators that more than massages were occurring on their visits to her home.
The operator was identified as Nancy Camacho (54, Atascocita).
Undercover investigators discovered several additional illicit activities were taking place at this location, which caused Camacho to also be in violation of the Harris County Sexually Oriented Business Regulations.
"These type of businesses, either as a store front or in a neighborhood, have been proven to bring additional crime into the area. This one is especially troubling due to its close proximity to Atascocita Middle School and the hours of operation coinciding with the kids walking to and from school in front of the residence. We will not tolerate these types of activities in our neighborhoods and near our schools and will do all we can to ensure those who bring them in are punished to the full extent of the law. Nancy Camacho was arrested, charged with Operating a Massage Parlor without a License and booked into the Harris County Jail. Her bond is set at $1,000.00 out of County Court 5." - Constable Mark Herman
