HISD threating to boycott tomorrow

Bus drivers feel it's an invasion of their Holy holiday! HISD is making up a weather day tomorrow.

I remember when Humble ISD forced us to go to school on Good Friday. So many parents kept their kids home that the calendar was changed the next year.

If I have to work on my holy holiday than these guys can too. they should be lucky they have jobs. We all have to make sacrifices on how we worship the Lord.

For once we agree on something. I'll also add that many people could care less about the holiness of the day. They simply want the time off.

I work at a hospital, you think we close on holidays? Get up and get your rear end to work. I bet there's another 200 folks lined up wishing they had those jobs. Honestly.
