Harris County breaks ground on $32.7 million flood project

A $32.7 million investment aimed at protecting roughly 500 homes in West University Place and Southside Place. That's $64,000.00 per home. On August 25, 2018, Harris County voters approved $2.5 billion in bonds to finance flood damage reduction projects. Why did we vote for that? After 8 years we have nothing to show for it.
