Guess what's coming up in three weeks. The Humble Rodeo & BBQ C
Guess what's coming up in three weeks. The Humble Rodeo & BBQ Cook Off. Same events, same Cowboys/Cowgirls, same action as that one up the road. What's the difference, well for one, it's up close and personal. That's right, if that cowboy hits the dirt, you're liable to get some dust on you. Did I mention free parking. Proceeds from the Rodeo and Cook Off benefit Humble ISD Teachers with Teaching Grants awarded by the Humble ISD Education Foundation. An event like this doesn't happen by itself. It relies on people giving a little bit of time. Smokeybear : I hope the weather is favorable. I had planned to go one year when we were there and ended up skipping because it was super cold. Good luck with the event.

Catmae : Rodeo time always make me think of my friends. We were a great team and through all the hard work we somehow found a way to have some fun. I know they are watching out making sure I get things right…..
Smokeybear : I will. I am there to help my daughter learn how to cook BBQ but last year so many cooking teams took the glory.

Wanderer : Good for you, that's what it's all about. Every year you learn a bit more.
Catmae : He was a Great man and should be here to kick us in gear. I was so pushed to get there and didn't. I wish I had. I often had conversations and you was always his number One. I really talk to God on what is his staff? He should he be here now.
Smokeybear : You will have it perfect. I would love to be able to help. They were the good guys. You are my hero!
