Goodbye Atascocita....... After almost exactly 17 years here it is time that I move on and move out of the hood - youngest is off to college next month. I will be having an estate sale before closing my current home in Eagle Springs, so be on the lookout for information soon. I see some of you are still here from my younger days. I hope all is well with everybody.

Me and DW have already downsized and got all new modern furniture, we have been working on house for two months probably going to list it in the next two weeks already started packing up totes and getting ready to get out of here.

RajunCajun : Twenty years, in Atascocita, I grew up in Sheldon and moved to Oklahoma in 1980 stayed up there for many years DW got transferred down here and she is ready to go back home as I am too.

bodyboy : I can't blame you there! We attended a retirement seminar sponsored by my dh's company. The man making a presentation said that 80% of people who retire and move to some other place move back to home within 5 years. The saying there's no place like home holds a lot of truth--home being where you spent your young adult years and middle-aged years.
