Good morning, waking up in the home town of "the simpsons". Going to do a short river float then bach to renton wa.

Skipping errands on this hot day. Dh took the car to have the oil changed and gas it up. Thankful for that because putting gas in the car isn't my fave errand. Babysitting grandbaby this afternoon. Did a bit of housework and will read. I only have a few more weeks to hit my summer reading goal with the library and get my free tote bag. I realize that I could lie-how would they know? But obviously defeats the point. Besides, I'm really enjoying my current book. Trying to increase my reading because I watch too much tv even with limiting it to evening hours. Have a roast in the crock pot. Nice to know that I don't have to cook after babysitting. Will send some home with dd so that she doesn't have to cook, either.

I also do not like pumping gas and if they had full service stations like they used to I would gladly pay someone to do that chore for me. It sounds like you had a nice day today. How many books are you trying to read this summer?

Three is the library requirement. A fairly reasonable goal. I'm on the third book now.
