LOL good morning! Are you having scrambled kittens for breakfast?

Morning everybody. I'm glad I went shopping yesterday. But, the good news is it's Friday!

Good Morning All Just got up glad I don't have anything to do today . So I am staying dry all day. Except I saw the trash men left the lid open now it will be fill of water dump.

@Itsme: Just think of it as an automatic rinse cycle for the trash can! LOL!

@brightlights : Is that how you get them to 'break it down'?

@Weathergirl5: Glad that I had nowhere that I had to be. Watched tons of rain drop into the canal and the pool. The inlet pipe to the canal from the streets was spewing like crazy, and dumped litter from the storm drains like it was going out of style! Ewww!

Thanks for the memories. I used to enjoy watching rain fall on the pool. I had forgotten that as I haven't had a pool in roughly 6 years. As to rain, yeah, that's another memory. I remember being at Target on 1960 on more than one occasion when I would look up and see the rain coming across Lake Houston. I knew I had maybe 5 minutes and I'd better run fast.

The rain was crazy yesterday and we got so much of it. My yard can't handle anymore. It has not had any time to dry out before more rain comes. I am so ready for this rain to leave and we can have several days with NO rain to dry out.

@Weathergirl5: Yes, dear friend, we had 3.5 inches yesterday. That's a lot! Today's prediction is 2.25 inches this afternoon. Yikes! But after that there is a lull in precipitation (maybe like a tenth of an inch each day) for about a week. Hopefully we can dry out a bit. The mushrooms in our lawns will be popping up like crazy, I'm sure!

Yes we just had another downpour. The mushrooms scare me. My neighbors dog ate one a few years back and died. My puppy tries to eat everything in the yard. I am paranoid she will eat a mushroom. I try to go out every morning and dig up any I see, but they crop up so fast with all this rain. I am praying she never eats one.
