I know I'm a nerd but there's nothing more that I love than the library. As I've previously mentioned, a new library was built in our area with a teaching kitchen. We are taking a class tomorrow on party foods and salad dressings. Class is taught by a chef. Looking forward to it. Class is just in time because I am hosting my Pokeeno group next week. Maybe I'll get a good recipe for a good party food to serve.

@RajunCajun :
Here's your recipe:
Whole Water chestnuts
Bacon
Barbecue Sauce
Wrap the bacon around the chestnuts, stick a wooden toothpick in (no frilly stuff!)to hold them and put them in the oven about 350. Once the bacon starts to cook, cover them with the bbq sauce.
You'll know when they're finished - remove and put them on a platter, and watch them disappear! They are SOOOOOO good.
