My daughters participate in many of the library programs. Last week my oldest did a cooking class that was a couple hours every day. The programs are free. Check on the website as some you have to register for. This week they are doing a free day camp at Jesse Jones. They go hiking and play games and the theme this week is bugs so they are learning about different ones. Tomorrow they are doing a canoe trip and Friday they go down to the Science Museum to view the butterflies. We have to pay $5 a kid for the museum trip but other than that it is free. Check with churches and participate in the VBS. If they are too old to attend they could be youth volunteers. Atascocita United Methodist Church has volleyball on Thursdays in the Life Center gym from 7-9 pm. For kids and adults. It is a lot of fun.
