Found - yesterday! A tiny black puppy with white markings on her chest and brendel markings on her paws. We think she is about 5 to 6 weeks old and about 4 to 5 pounds. She was found wandering on the golf course behind Sunny Shores Drive. We checked around our neighborhood and no one had lost her.

Come on folks, it is the season! We are taking care of her until she can find her "fur-ever" home.

Please contact Sandy at 360-508-8214 or through this post. I know this is an out of state cell number but I live in Atascocita.

Get her to the vet- pretty sure that puppy has a big ol belly of worms- pretty common but needs to be treated

Stray dogs love the golf course. Momma dog is probably a stray who had her litter nearby, and Junior wandered off while she was gone to get food and got lost.

@Chasinghosts- more common than you think- just wait till Spring. Those cute Christmas pups will become unruly teenagers and the owners will dump them by the thousands!
My new foster fail was found running on a bayou WITH a cute bandanna on at 6 months old. Kept at a vet for over 2 weeks to try and find the owner- not chipped and no owner found. He came into our rescue and I fostered him for 2 weeks before deciding to keep him. He's a handful but who would dump this cutie???

@Jpgurl I do understand. We have 4 or 5 dropped off in Atascocita Trace every few weeks. This is my baby that I got while she was in rescue, along with her Mom and sibs. She is now 7 and was definitely a handful in the beginning. We couldn't lover her more. She is our 3rd rescue.
