I think Google is just the tip of a very big iceberg. Many entities track us over the Internet. And yes I do agree there's no free lunch so to speak. In the electronic age not only are we subject to monitoring by companies seeking to log our habits for financial gain, but we're also subjected to hackers on even so called secure sites.
By the way if big brother is sending "Hellfires" they're not directed at us.
