Always these "first implants"....But, sadly, many don't last....
 
Last year or the year before there were a couple of men who received "first pig heart transplants" and it was all over the news....They lasted less than 2 months....

@West-Tex : Glad to see they've moved on from using pig organs. Hopefully this proves to be more successful. If it were me, I would do nothing but worry about it, which would make it work harder and probably break. Emoticon

@EddyFree : They knew it was their only hope and that it might not last. They had the surgeries in hope of at minimum helping others in the future. They were very selfless. I know someone that has had 3 heart transplants. He is finally doing really well. It's been a really long road with the last one. You have to at least have some hope and a little luck doesn't hurt.
