FIFA World Cup in Houston Details OK. Here is the upcoming info I've been able to gather on the World Cup competitions held in Houston. My purpose in digging into this was mainly to avoid peak traffic times downtown. Tickets are much cheaper than the $4K I had heard in the press! Here are the relevant screenshots: All matches in the 5 Group Stage Games are at 1pm except Fri 6/26 is 8pm. (Cabo Verde vs. Saudi Arabia). The 2 Portugal matches (Wed 6/17 & Tues 6/23) are the only 2 times in the US during playoffs that you can see global superstar Cristiano Ronaldo in action! I have not yet found out the times of the 2 Knockout Rounds in Houston. I'll let you know if I see it.

@Smokeybear: Thanks for the tip, kind sir! Very much appreciated!
@KathyMarshall :
Those are direct prices, but most are snapped up in large quantities by resellers. It's over $1000 cheapest ticket now Resellers use multitudes of computers to log in and snap them up.

@ParksideRes: Ah! Thanks for clarifying. Ticket scalping is still alive and well! Good luck to anyone wanting to attend in person. I wonder if FIFA will be broadcasting any matches, the way that sports are shown on TVs in various bars and grilles. It might be a lot cheaper to go out for wings and beer with friends than to try to get a stadium seat! I'm not a soccer fan myself. My only purpose in researching all this info was to alert our neighbors about times to avoid the stadium vicinity and the approach roads.
