Ever missed a family members birthday?
Missed my dad's one and he had called to ask if I was coming over .. I said no .. felt 2" tall when I figured out why he expected me to come by

I went to Walden on DW, s birthday one year and played golf all day and had several adult beverages and forgot it was her birthday, the women at Walden that she played with remembered it and when I got home it was not good, I still get reminded of that every year.
