Where do we dump old lumber and junk?
Someone, not me, put a lot of junk on our trailer and now needs to take it to the Dump! Is the landfill the only option?

I think if you cut it is 3 or 4 ft lengths and bundle it up the trash man will take it

If it is a lot of debris, for instance from home remodeling, the trash company won't take it, regardless of it being bundled within their size requirements. We ran into this problem. So, we went to Lowe's and bought the contractor-size giant black trash bags and put the debris in those, putting 3 bags at a time out on heavy trash day. We were done in about 4 weeks.

We had old fence pieces and large tree branches needing hauled off and someone stop and ask if they could have it. They took most of it and made it easy to bag the rest. Maybe post a photo in the classifieds - free fcfs.

Either that or a bayou.....

Serious though the WM Bag at lowes is a good thing.. At the landfill they will charge you what they say the trailer can hold, not what is actually on it.

@Sammee That's what we did also . I had everything I wanted to be rid off behind the garage so I didn't have to see it & each wk we'd put 1 or 2 extra bags of junk out .

Creative trash options! I love them all. I bet hubby took it to the dump though. I am not there so he gets to do what he wants. LOL
