Driver's Report Leads to Arrest After Alleged Strangulation in Atascocita
A driver was pulled over on Eagle Springs Drive who then alerted deputies to a reported assault at a home on Tranquility Grove Drive, according to Constable Mark Herman's Office. The office said the traffic stop took place on October 17th, 2026, in the 18600 block of Eagle Springs Drive. The driver told deputies a man was assaulting a woman at the residence.
Deputies went to the home in the 16600 block of Tranquility Grove Drive to investigate. Investigators allege Pedro Sanchez strangled the woman, impeding her ability to breathe. Sanchez is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
