Homemade Whitehouse Navy Bean Soup, in honor of the outgoing. We do it every 4 years whether they leave or not. Might make some cornbread.

I didn't have time for lunch so had Burger King in my car on the way home. 🙂

Was a free-for-all here tonight. Every man for him/her self! Guess what? No one starved! I wasn't very hungry, so I had some watermelon and cantaloupe (with Tajin).And a slice of white bread with some butter. Lightly toasted.

I made a venison top round roast with taters and veggies. Took a while to get it tender but it came out pretty tasty.

@brightlights : Oh no! It seems the slice of white bread lightly toasted with butter is becoming a trend. It must be catching. I think it's called toast -itis

@Floyd : Did you ever try the steel head trout? Maybe you posted about it and I missed it. I was wondering what you and your DW thought of it?

@Weathergirl5 : DW, but that's ok Actually we didn't, I had messaged her about it but she didn't see it until later so I never picked any up. Will definitely be on the menu in the near future though and I'll give our review.
